Matthew Brockmann
Founder & CEO
Matthew Brockmann is the visionary founder of both MAST Solutions and Atlas Glinn, bringing over 34 years of expertise in security, training, and dignitary protection.
A seasoned civilian contractor, he specializes in Military, Law Enforcement, and Homeland Security Special Response Teams (SRT), with extensive experience collaborating with elite Tier 1 Operators from units like Navy SEALs, Recon Marines, and USASOC. His career began in 1991 at Gunsight under Cornel J. Cooper, laying the foundation for his distinguished path.
As a former Head of Security and Dignitary Protection for U.S. Senators Ted Cruz and Mark Schmitt, among others, Brockmann has honed his skills in high-stakes environments.
He is a certified Firearms Instructor for civilians, law enforcement, and agencies, and a Gracie Jiu-Jitsu practitioner, blending martial arts with tactical training.
His credentials include instructor certificates from Paul Howe (1st SOF/DELTA) and other renowned schools, complemented by a dynamic curriculum developed through protective details and elite unit collaborations.
Brockmann’s influence extends to training personnel from the U.S. Military, Homeland Security, Border Patrol, DEA, SWAT, NASA SRT, and high-risk warrant teams. As a licensed Personal Protection Officer and Law Enforcement Instructor for the Harris County Diplomatic Protection Unit, he also serves as a training and evaluation consultant for Harris County’s Tier 1-3 courthouses and federal buildings.
His certifications include Expandable Tactical Baton, Aerosol Weapons (OC/CS), Taser, and a private investigator license, reflecting his comprehensive skill set.
